Bilbao is on the north coast of Spain bathed by the Cantabrian sea. It is a beautiful city with parks and gardens, a port and it has many restaurants, bars, discos, shops and entertainment. It is 35 kms. west of San Sebastian and 25 kms. east of Castro Urdiales. You can visit art galleries and museums, the most famous being the "Guggenheim".
Nearby Leisure Activities The coast is dotted with many lovely sandy beaches and coves for swimming and sunbathing and water sports are available in the vicinity. The beautiful wooded hills surrounding the city are ideal for hiking, trekking and climbing and all sorts of sports such as tennis, riding etc. are available nearby.
