How to arrive by public transport:

Your apartment's bus and tram stop is Engerstraße. Also written Engerstrasse or Engerstr.

This is the name of 2 different tram stops and one bus stop that you will find on the map that will be sent to you after booking.
The 4 descriptions below will lead you to one of these stops, just one minute away from your apartment. You can take the lift, the apartment is on the 5th floor, middle door. Welcome!

From Messe Düsseldorf = Trade fair centre (23 - 29 minutes, 1 change)

At stop Messe Ost/Stockumer Kirchstraße, take the underground train U78 direction "Düsseldorf Hbf" or U79 direction "D-Uni Botanischer Garten". Get off 3 stops later at Theodor-Heuss-Brücke, go up and take bus 834 direction "Düsseldorf Hbf". You will arrive at stop 2 on the map.

From the Central railway station = Hauptbahnhof Düsseldorf = Düsseldorf Hbf (10 minutes)

Go to the main exit. You can choose between tram and bus, both direct and equal in time.


Take tram 709 on your right, direction "G'heimer Krankenhaus". You will arrive at stop 3.
Or go 100 m straight on and take bus 834 direction "D-Belsenplatz". You will arrive at stop 2.

From Düsseldorf Airport (18 minutes, 1 change)

Arriving at any terminal, take the S-Bahn line S11 direction "Dormagen K-Chorweiler Köln Bergisch Gladbach".* Get off at the 4th stop D-Wehrhahn. Get out of the S-Bahn stop and take line U72 or U73 or U83 at the stop right in front. You will arrive at stop 1.

* There might be some other stops listed. It is the right direction if it goes to the railway station "Düsseldorf Hbf", which is just one stop after yours. Ask someone if you're not sure.
The S-Bahn is a regional train network symbolized by a big white S in a green circle. It's not the normal train (Deutsche Bahn) or a tram!

From centre - Altstadt (old town), Königsallee, museums, theatre, opera (6-7 minutes)

At stop Heinrich-Heine-Allee or Jan-Wellem-Platz, take line U73 or U72 or U83.
You will arrive at stop 1.

For a direct transit from Düsseldorf Airport to Messe Düsseldorf

Take bus 896 to Messe Düsseldorf and get off at Messe Ost/Stockumer Kirchstraße. There are 2 other Messe stops according to where you have to go, but this is the common one.

For a direct transit from Messe Düsseldorf to the Central railway station (Düsseldorf Hbf)

Take underground U78 direction "Düsseldorf Hbf" or U79 direction "D-Uni Botanischer Garten" and get off at Düsseldorf Hbf.
