The nearest major airport is Glasgow, around 65 miles away. It is served by most of the major car hire companies.

Travelling by car from Glasgow, take the M8 westbound, to junction 30. Cross over the Erskine Bridge and take the A82 along the side of Loch Lomond until Tarbet. Continue straight ahead on the A83 to Inveraray. At Inveraray, stay on the A83 through the town centre, following signs for Lochgilphead. Furnace is 9 miles from Inveraray on the A83. (Glasgow to Furnace takes about an hour and a half by car). If using public transport, the Glasgow to Campbelltown Citylink bus stops approximately 100 metres from the cottage.
