Leaving Stockport and Manchester follow the A6 towards Buxton. Having passed through Furness Vale, the road bends to the left and goes under a bridge. Turn left immediately after the railway bridge (sharp turn), and head to Buxworth. On entering the village, pass the church on the left and take the road to the right signed to the canal basin (The village school is at the top of the road). Waters Reach is the second cottage from the bottom of the row on the left. There is roadside parking.
