A car is not essential as it can be tempting to spend the entire holiday on the beach or promenade with good weather! There is also the railway from Lowestoft and a good bus service to many villages and towns. However a car does make it easier and quicker to explore the area, which is quite rural. Directions to the house: Travelling north on the A12, follow signs for Lowestoft. Once you have passed a holiday camp called Pontins on your right, continue on the A12 on the next roundabout (straight over). At the 2nd roundabout, take the 3rd exit, the B1532 towards Pakefield. You continue on this road until you get to some small shops. Turn right into Pakefield Street, then take the 2nd turning right into All Saints Road. Take the first turning right into Kirkdale Court. The garage for the house is on the left, next to which is the entrance gate into the back garden of the house. (Parking is at the rear of the house in Kirkdale Court as the house fronts onto a footpath).
